 Performance

The 2016 Jaguar XF is powered by one of two engine choices. The one on the Premium, Prestige, and R-Sport is a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 that provides 340 horsepower at 6,500 revolutions per minute (RPM) and 332 lb-ft of torque at up to 3,500 RPM. On the top-of-the-line S, however, provides 40 more horsepower. Each engine is mated to an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission, with rear-wheel drive standard on the Premium and Prestige and all-wheel drive standard on the R-Sport and S. As a result of these outstanding specs, the 2016 XF is a Flash Gordon-style vehicle, with a peak 0-60 miles per hour (mph) time of 5.1 seconds and top speed of 155 mph.

 Interior

Designed as a five-seater, the 2016 Jaguar XF possesses a cavernous cabin that comes to life when you push the engine start button: the air vents rotate open and the engine growls to life, preparing you for the exciting ride you are about to experience. And with each trip, you will enjoy the plush leather-appointed seat (standard on all trims but the Premium) with multi-way power adjustability to accommodate your seating preferences. The front passenger seat is also power-adjustable, and the bench-style rear seat can be folded to expand the truck beyond its maximum volume of 19.1. Go with the Prestige, R-Sport or S trim, and you automatically get heating capability on the front seats, as well as the ability to add cooling capability on the front seats or heating capability on the rear seats.

 Features

Central to the feature-rich 2016 Jaguar XF is the Jaguar InControl Touch, an information and multimedia system that includes a huge 7-inch touchscreen display. With its intuitive touch and swipe controls and its integration with the 12.3-inch HD TFT instrument cluster, you can do anything in the vehicle: from checking the weather forecast to making a hands-free phone call. Hooked to the InControl Touch is a 12-speaker Meridian audio system. Other standard or available interior convenience and comfort features of the luxurious XF include HD Radio, front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera, GPS navigation, and blind spot monitoring. The Jag also sports dual exhaust, 18- to 20-inch aluminum wheels, and power heated side mirrors with turn-signal indicators.

 Safety

The 2016 Jaguar XF is packed with dual front impact air bags and dual front side-impact air bags for protecting the driver and front passenger in the event of a collision. Also included are dual roof-mounted side curtain air bags for head protection for all occupants of the vehicle. Four-wheel disc brakes with ABS (anti-lock braking) and braking assist provides superior stopping ability, electronic stability and traction control systems help reduce the risk of losing control on driving surfaces, and an electronic security system keeps potential thieves from even daring to steal the vehicle.
