 Performance

Under the hood of the new F-TYPE SVR is a 5.0-liter, supercharged V8 engine that spits out an impressive 575 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque - an upgrade from the F-TYPE R's 550 horses and 502 pound-feet. The latest SVR comes standard with all-wheel-drive, is 55 pounds lighter than the F-TYPE, and gallops from naught to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds. It brags of a top speed (200 mph) higher than most of its peers, notably the all-wheel-drive Porsche 911 GTS. The angry engine is partnered with an eight-speed ZF Quickshift automatic transmission or an optional manual transmission option. This menacing machine rewards the driver with more power, exceptional speed, and superior drivability.

 Interior

If you think that the F-TYPE SVR looks good on the outside, then you should step into its interior. Luxurious SVR seats with Lozenge Puff pattern, SVR steering wheel, anodized aluminum paddle shifters, and suede cloth-covered instrument binnacle and center console give the SVR's cabin a playful yet sophisticated demeanor. Unlike most fast cars, it comes standard with air conditioning and navigation. The 12-speaker Meridian sound system linked to an 8-inch touchscreen and Jaguar's InControl Apps allows for smartphone connectivity and transforms your car into an all-around infortainment hub. In the convertible, the top can be brought either down or back up with minimum buffeting at highway speeds up to 30 mph. The coupe features the now-standard panoramic sunroof and plenty of headroom.

 Features

The Jaguar F-TYPE SVR is equipped with a trunkful of features, and the best part is that most of them come standard. Drivers are gifted with automatic bi-xenon headlights with washers and LED running lights. The vehicles also come with power-folding heated side mirrors, automatic wipers, cruise control, single-zone automatic climate control, and keyless ignition and entry. Comfort features include eight-way power seats, leather and suede upholstery, and simulated leather interior trim. There is an abundance of convenience amenities including driver memory settings, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a power tilt-and-telescoping steering column among others. Lightweight 20-inch forged wheels improve the exterior's perfection, and the Inconel Titanium active sports exhaust ensures that everyone notices.

 Safety

The Jag F-TYPE SVR is fitted with stability and traction control antilock disc brakes, rollover protection bars (convertible only) and seat-mounted side airbags. Rear parking sensors come standard, and the upgraded chassis features anti-roll bars and wider tires for improved stability. Optional Carbon Ceramic Matrix (CCM) brake system delivers exceptional fade resistance and a 46-lb (21kg) reduction in unsprang mass. The SVR scored above most of its closest competitors in government testing for the overall crash, frontal-impact, and side-impact protection.
